All About Dr. Colby

I have been providing eye care for over 9 years in the Northwest Metro and I really enjoy the wide range of patients in private practice. From examining small children to mature adults, every patient presents a unique and personal challenge. I take pleasure in getting to know patients so I can better serve and understand their needs. I grew up in Holmen, Wisconsin and completed my undergraduate degree from Concordia College in St. Paul . I am a Nationally board certified and residency trained optometrist and have worked extensively in comprehensive eye care and surgical environments since graduating from Pacific University College of Optometry in Oregon . I was honored to be named the Young Optometrist of the Year by the Minnesota Optometric Association.

My husband, Dirk, and I met at optometry school and have always dreamed of owning our own clinic in a rural community. Although Rogers is growing leaps and bounds, we enjoy the small town atmosphere and friendliness of its people. We look forward to providing your family with comprehensive eye care for years to come!

My favorite color is blue.
I enjoy perennial gardening and landscaping.
I collect thimbles and play the violin.
I will eat pizza until I get sick.
