Meet Our Staff

All About Dr. Stokes-Johnson

I grew up in Mounds View, Minnesota and completed my undergraduate degree in biology at Winona State University. While at Winona , I made the decision to become an optometrist and I am thrilled with my career choice every day.
I received my doctorate of optometry from the University of Missouri-St. Louis College of Optometry in 2004. Immediately following graduation, I was commissioned a Captain in the United States Air Force and was stationed at Goodfellow Air Force Base, Texas . I served as the solo optometrist at Goodfellow for three years and very much enjoyed being of service to our troops.

While living in Texas , my husband Jeremy and I welcomed our two children, a daughter and a son. We recently moved back to Minnesota to be near our family and friends. I look forward to working as an optometrist back in my home state.

Some interesting facts about me:
I collect Pigs…I am currently working on collecting a porcelain pig from every state.
I married my middle school sweetheart; we've been friends since the 1 st grade.
I enjoy running and hope to do more marathons in the future.
