Cornea: The transparent outer layer of the eye that covers the iris and pupil.

Aqueous: The liquid that fills the space between the cornea and the iris.

Iris: The round, colored membrane between the cornea and the lens that surrounds the pupil.

Lens: The transparent tissue located between the iris and vitreous that focuses light entering the pupil into the retina.

Pupil: The small, dark round opening in the center of the eye’s iris through which light enters the eye.

Vitreous: The gel that fills the space between the iris and the retina.

Retina: A layer of nerve cells lining the back of the eye that detects light and color information.

Optic Nerve: The nerve which transmits signals from the retina to the brain to be processed as vision.

Our new location is on the west side of Highway 101 between Rogers Pet Clinic and Partners-In-Pediatrics.
