I am the newest member of the EyeWest Vision Clinic family and joined the practice in the summer of 2010. I enjoy getting to know patients of all ages, and am happy to manage eye conditions of all kinds.

I am originally from Hawley, MN and earned my undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, from Concordia College in Moorhead. After graduating with honors from Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, OR, I moved to Tacoma, WA for my residency training. I received training with an emphasis on hospital based optometry, management of ocular disease, and low vision at the American Lake Veterans Hospital.

After living on the west coast, my husband, Micah, and I are happy to be back in our home state of Minnesota. It is definitely nice being a lot closer to family and being able to spend time at the lakes during the summer.

Some interesting things about me:

  • I have climbed Mount Kilimanjaro.
  • I love going to movies and can't resist movie theater popcorn.
  • I enjoy traveling, hiking, shopping, reading, and playing volleyball.
