I joined the EyeWest Vision Clinic team in August of 2011.  I completed my undergraduate degree at Iowa State University and graduated from Illinois College of Optometry.  After obtaining my board certification, I practiced in Burlington, Vermont for eight years.  I am a member of the American Optometric Association and the Minnesota Optometric Association. 

I enjoy meeting new people and examining patients of all ages with special interest in contact lenses and ocular disease. I enjoy volunteering on mission trips and last year I travelled to Haiti to provide eye care and glasses to the less fortunate.  It was truly a life changing experience and I’m looking forward to going back.

I grew up in Okoboji, IA and I moved back to the Midwest to be closer to family.  I am excited to be here and look forward to providing comprehensive eye care in the Northwest metro.  I am now accepting new patients. 

Some interesting facts about me:

• I enjoy running, snowboarding, biking, and traveling.
• I love food and will eat and try just about anything.
• I enjoy playing the guitar in my spare time.
